The Department of Fashion Designing conducted a workshop ‘Colours and Creativity’ in association with St. Teresa’s CGHSS on 01.11.2022 as part of World Students Day. The session was conducted for 200 students of Class VI and was handled by 21 the students of I Master’s Programme in Fashion Designing and II PG Diploma in Fashion Designing.

The workshop included an introduction to colours and colour mixing, paper bag making, bookmark making and wood block printing. The session was very interactive and our students got an opportunity to enhance their teaching and interpersonal skills.

The participants of the workshop understood about reusing of products as they gave a new look to pillow covers and cushion covers that are used in their homes, using wood block printing. Another takeaway of the session was making bookmarks and gift bags using paper and paper
folding techniques.
