Allen Kannattu, a career counsellor, engineer, and founder of the Chengannur-based Crowdworks India Foundation NGO, spoke to final-year BA English students about their potential future careers. He placed emphasis on the requirement that students possess knowledge of SEO and digital marketing in order to be in demand in the job market. He informed the students of the numerous tests available to BA English Literature graduates that would aid in their quest for admission to esteemed universities. Also, Mr. Kannattu volunteered to assist students with their resumes who are interested in pursuing their studies abroad. The effectiveness of the lecture lay in the students’ increased understanding of potential career paths.
