The Department of Chemistry and Centre for Research of St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous) in association with Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), conducted a webinar on “Call for paper writing and research report on innovation” titled “Unveiling scientific research” on 27th February 2021at 5 pm via Google Meet platform. The resource person of the programme was Dr.Jose Mathew ,Scientific Assistant in Indian Navy, Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam. The talk was open for all the students and staff of the college and there were almost 100 attendees. The webinar was a successful session that incorporated the elements of interaction, discussion and queries. The entire webinar was taken in a slot of three sessions, each made very exciting and interactive in the form of a game. The first session dealt with the basic knowledge of scientific research- the history, definition and purpose. The second session had beautifully explained the various terms associated with a research paper, in the form of a game of jumbled words, which made attendees curious to answer them. The third session dealt with the sharing of some of the research papers published in the most renowned journals.
