As a part of "World Food Safety Day" our department took a pledge to raise the awareness about food safety measures on 10th June 2019. Also the students of central block took part for the same.

The Association of the department conducted a one day workshop on 14th August 2018 on the topic “Various Opportunities in Food Processing”. The session was handled by Mr. Anoop George. He gave the students an insight on varied job profiles and the current trends in the field.
