Alumni Achievement- V.R.Vachana -Represented India in FLC 2021

V.R.Vachana (Alumni-B.A.Economics -2012-15) honoured to have been selected for the #FutureLeadersConnect Programme 2021 by the British Council delivered in Partnership with the Møller Institute, University of Cambridge .
Every year, the Future Leaders Connect (FLC) Programme selects 50 young emerging policy leaders, from more than 13 countries, through a competitive process. I am delighted to represent #India in the FLC 2021 cohort, and work towards my vision for global change, “improve the governance of metropolitan areas, to unlock their economic potential and better solve 21st-century urban challenges.”

The six-week-long advanced policy and leadership programme, which kicked off this week, will give me the opportunity to meet and interact with peers who are doing exceptional work across the globe, world leaders, and change-makers, a chance to discuss my policy ideas with leaders and experts, etc. I am looking forward to gaining invaluable insights in #leadership, #policymaking, and #advocacy to further work towards strengthening India’s #CitySystems.
