Department of Commerce SF conducted a seminar on “Acceleration/incubation of opportunities”. The speaker of the session was Dr. Bharadhwaj Sivakumar an academician of 27 years of experience. He has a PhD in marketing from the University of Maryland college park, USA. He gave an introduction to
entrepreneurship. His extensive knowledge, engaging teaching style and passion for the subject made the session very interesting for everyone in the audience. The practical knowledge and real- world examples like Reliance and Tata have also left a lasting impact in the minds of the students. Many from the students did not know the importance of entrepreneurship and how it can be a useful source of income for them especially in the present generation, until sir explained it to everyone. He also told them about how becoming a job creator is more important than becoming a job seeker.
