NATURE STUDY CAMP TO VAZHACHAL – 2011

Learn the importance and protection of natural resources

A three day Nature Study camp was conducted to  Vazhachal from 11th to 13th February 2011 for a group of 35 students accompanied by two teachers  (Smt. Gladys Francis and Dr. Soja Lous). The students got an amazing opportunity to stay in close proximity to nature and understand the importance of protection of these natural resources. They also got the chance to communicate with the tribals of the area and understand their lives in a sustainable manner. The nature study camp included various sessions on the area, wildlife, and other natural parameters associated with Vazhachal. Adventurous activities like trekking was a highlight of the camp Followed by a campfire organized for the students.
