The Department of Commerce is enriched by 5 lecturers including 4 regular staff members and one part time lecturer in Law. Two permanent faculties are undergoing Ph.D activities and two retired faculty members are Ph.D holders. The Department offers Bachelor of Commerce degree, one of the most demanded courses of the contemporary academic world. Highly professional in nature, the course intends to provide a foundation for students who plan to pursue their career in business, commerce, accounting etc. The pass percentage for B.Com Degree Examination 2014-15 is 95.24%. The Department responded to the current needs of the society by conducting an inter-departmental competitions and Group Discussions . The Department Journal "Teresian Journal of Management Research' is a platform for faculty and students to develop their academic interest.
